UI/UX Design Workshop
Feb 05, 2026
In a bid to enhance practical skills in social case management and group work, the BSW 2nd-year students recently attended a comprehensive training camp held at Sikles Village. The event, organized by the Social Work Department, provided students with hands-on experience in addressing real-life social issues and effectively working within community settings. Over the course of the camp, participants engaged in various workshops and field exercises designed to deepen their understanding of casework principles and group dynamics, guided by experienced social work professionals.
The training camp also emphasized the importance of cultural sensitivity and community engagement, allowing students to work closely with local residents and better grasp the complexities of rural social work. Through interactive sessions and practical tasks, students were able to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, fostering a greater appreciation for the impact of their future roles as social workers. The initiative received positive feedback from both students and facilitators, marking a successful step forward in bridging academic learning with field experience.
